Voodoo is the third DC title that has been cancelled today, joining Resurrection Man and Captain Atom. Voodoo got off to a rough start last year and was targeted by puritan bloggers for its gratuitous sex and cleavage shots. It also lost its first writer, Ron Marz, and quickly became wrapped up in a barely coherent plot about Daemonites and bisexuals.
Many believed the title was about to be cancelled after the announcement of the "Wave Three" series as Swords and Sorcery will feature a main female character and Team Seven will maintain the necessary quota of former Wildstorm books. We reached out to DC for comment, but it's believed that they already forgot that the comic existed.
