More thrills from the Batman scribe!
Paul Dini is back on Batman, or at least that's what he's claiming in an interview with SFX. The project is a new graphic novel that has some sort of personal meaning to Dini and won't be released for at least another year.
Personally, it's great that Dini is back on Batman and is working in a format that fits in with his busy and often irregular schedule. Gotham City Sirens and Streets of Gotham were both fantastic books that were hurt by delays and awful fill-ins which ultimately led to both of their demises. Putting him on a graphic novel not only gives his writing greater exposure to casual readers that would greatly benefit from his superb storytelling abilities but also keeps away from a monthly deadline that he simply can't maintain.
Anyways, if it's a personal project, I hope it has something to do with Zatanna, another Dini favorite. Batman/Zatanna=awesome. Just sayin'.
