Suddenly, Detective Comics isn't a superfluous book!
Source: DC Comics
DC Comics announced that John Layman and Jason Fabok will be taking over Detective Comics
from industry pariah Tony Daniel, turning the book into something readable for the first time in over a year. Layman, best known for his indie smash hit Chew
stated that his run will focus on Gotham's criminal empires and that Batman would also have new toys to play with. He did not mention if one of these toys would be a cyborg rooster of doom, mayhem and destruction. This will be the first time Layman's worked on DC.
