It's a veritable cornucopia of Power Rangers stuff at San Diego Comic Con, if you're into that sort of thing.

Fans of Voltron who yearned for a creepier, live-action adaptation of the series without the giant robots had their wish fulfilled in the early nineties when Saban Entertainment introduced the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, an adaptation of the Japanese show Super Sentai (rough translation: Rape Party). Twenty years later, the series remains inexplicably popular with weirdos everywhere, and those proud weirdos will have their perseverance rewarded by a large Power Rangers presence at San Diego Comic Con.
The original cast of the show have vacated their careers in the janitorial and porno businesses to return their roles, joining the other costumed creeps on the floor of the convention. A panel will be held on Thursday, July 12 at 2PM at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront (Indigo Room) to talk about the series evolution, the massive DVD release, and the resurgence of the show with Nickelodeon's Power Rangers Super Samurai. After the panel, fans will be invited to attend anti-bullying self defense classes, required by law to be sponsored by Saban, to protect themselves from bronies, as the fans of the little girl's My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic cartoon have surpassed Power Rangers fans on the nerd pecking order and will be looking to assert their dominance on the show floor with beatdowns and wedgies.
Throughout the convention, fans can find exclusive merchandise, get autographs signed by the cast of Power Rangers Super Samuai, and can even attend the unveiling of a 3D Power Rangers mural, which may not be as good as sleeping with a woman, but hey, you take what you can get. More details below.
In closing, this reporter would like to apologize to any Power Rangers fans who are offended by this article. The fact is, if you want to be cool like this reporter, you should be into something totally awesome and not at all lame, like superhero comic books.
Here's the press release:
