Fans of superhero web series Shelf Life will want to attend Tara Platt & Yuri Lowenthal's SDCC panel this evening to score a *Free* SL comic book.
Are you interested in creating unique video content for the web? Wish you knew how to produce and star in your very own web series? Well SDCC visitors answering those questions in the affirmative won't want to miss today's highly informative panel, Moving to the Web: Be Your Own Producer, hosted by Tara Platt & Yuri Lowenthal (creators and producers of the award winning web series Shelf Life).
Shelf Life (currently in its third season), stars power-couple Yuri and Tara as "Bug Boy" and "Hero Lass," respectively. They, along with two comedic friends ("Samurai Snake" and "Hero Man") are shelf-bound superhero action figures that often cuss like sailors and consistently bring silly fun to the web week after week. SL fans, or those just interested in learning more, who attend today's panel can grab a *free* copy of Shelf Life's first actual comic book! The one-shot SDCC freebie includes two stories (by Dekker Dreyer, Andy Suriano, Melinda Davidson and Yuri Lowenthal himself), pinups (by Thom Zahler, Chris Moreno, Len Peralta, Sean "Cheeks" Galloway and William Haefeli), fan art, additional art by (Al-Insan Lashley and Jake Akuna) plus a special invitation to Shelf LIVE!
