At least 14 new actors and actresses will join HBO's Game of Thrones cast, including:
Dame Diana Rigg (Emma Peel!!!) as Lady Olenna Tyrell, the "Queen of Thorns."
Craig Russell as Bryndon "Blackfish" Tully, Catelyn Stark's uncle.

Richard Dormer as Beric Dondarrion, leader of the Brotherhood without Banners.
Philip McGinley as Anguy of The Brotherhood without Banners.
Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Ellie Kendirck as Jojen and Meera Reed, respectively - it was thought that the Reed's part in the books had been written out, so this is exciting news!
Kristofer Hivju as Tormund Giantsbane, a famed wildling raider.
Mackenzie Crook as wilding raider Orell, and a warg.
Anton Lesser as Qyburn, a disgraced former Maester in service to Queen Regent Cercei.

Procrastinating writer George R. R. Martin joked that he would need to kill off some characters as the cast was becoming so large. Expect the deaths to occur when the next Song of Ice and Fire book, The Winds of Winter, hits stores in 2037.
In addition, we learned that the series will premiere on March 31, 2013 on HBO.
