The Eisner Winning writer continues to drag the comic industry into the modern era, whether it likes it or not.
Pilot Season announced that it would be partnering with Mark Waid's Thrillbent webcomic site to release this year's Pilot Season titles. The company stated that all of this year's titles would be released on the website. Readers will be able to read and vote for all of the titles for free. After the initial round of voting, the top two series will have a second issue released and readers will pick the winner from there.
Pilot Season noted that its partnership with Waid was due to retailers not ordering the contest's comics and that both Waid and Mark Silvestri would have submissions in this year's contest. The winner of the contest will still get a miniseries that will be collected into a graphic novel.
