Cover Revealed for J.K. Rowling's Non-Magical The Casual Vacancy

J. K. Rowling released the cover to her new book, The Casual Vacancy, which confirmed every Harry Potter fan's worst fear: this is not a book about magic or wizards. The book will be in stores on September 27th, with erotic fanfic featuring the characters to follow on various Potter websites on September 28.
When Rowling first announced that she was writing an "adult" book, many fans expressed hope that she was finally embracing the erotic subtext pinned to her Harry Potter series since its debut fifteen years ago. However, she quickly announced that instead of writing a book about Harry and Ron groping for each other's wands, it would instead involve politics in a small British town, which is potentially the most boring subject in the world, but, in a way, basically the same thing.
Many adult fans scoffed at the notion that Vacancy would be Rowling's "first" adult book. "Next they'll be telling me that My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is meant for little girls. Preposterous!" said Brendon Siefert, a writer for Bleeding Cool and RIch Johnston Marionette.
It is rumored that The Casual Vacancy was originally meant to be a supplementary novel in the Potter series, answering lingering questions such as how Harry could graduate after skipping an entire year of school, why Snape went out like a bitch, and just what sick sexual dysfunction fuels Harry's obsession with gingers, but Rowling instead tweaked the manuscript in an effort to become a well-respected literary figure, following the path paved by renowned author Judy Blume of writing books about non-magical adults being boring as shit.
Unfortunately, Rowling did not announce that she'd be doing away with the thousands of adverbs that litter her writing, clogging her sentences indiscriminately without any regard to sentence structure or moderation. Her editors commented, "...," because they don't exist.
