Bendis Leaving Avengers

The Great One Brian Michael Bendis will be ending one of the most memorable comic book runs in history.
News has just broken that Brian Michael Bendis will be leaving the Avengers franchise, for which he has written multiple series over the last decade, in 2012. The revelation comes in an interview on Comic Book Resources, which you can read at the source link below.
"I'm going to wrap up 'Avengers' and 'New Avengers.' At the same time the first storyline of 'Avengers Assemble' will be done," Bendis told CBR. "It's a good time to move on to other things. Before I go, though, I'm ending things big. I'm in countdown mode. You know when you're watching a show like 'Breaking Bad,' and every episode feels like the second to last episode? That's where I'm at."
This reporter would make this article snarkier, but I wouldn't want to deprive the forums of the joygasm of sarcastic remarks that are likely to fill the comments section below. :)
