Did Robert Kirkman bring back one of the many dead cast members of The Walking Dead? Read on and find out!
The Walking Dead is known for many things: zombies, torture, and compelling human drama. One thing it's not known for is its shocking resurrections. Unlike Marvel or DC's universes, in The Walking Dead, dead means dead...unless they come back as zombies.
Until now. The Outhouse can exclusively confirm that Robert Kirkman has brought back a character long thought lost in his hit zombie series. And the most shocking part is: he did it in last week's issue #97. Massive Walking Dead Spoilers are Below.
To see the identity of the returning cast member, check out the panel below, straight out of The Walking Dead #97, page 20.

While on the surface, the panel appears to be Rick sitting pensively about his group's latest situation. However, upon closer examination, doesn't it look like Rick is a little...handy?
That's right, appearing in panel for the first time since The Walking Dead #28 is Rick's right hand! Rick's hand has long thought to be dead since it was seperated from the rest of his body at the hands of the Governor. However, it appears that Rick's hand has somehow made the journey to the Hilltop and reunited with Rick in an emotional, off-panel scene. Could Rick's hand be the beginning of a string of miraculous resurrections? Will Dale, Shane, Lori or Tyrese be far behind?
The Outhouse reached out to Charlie Adlard about what it was like to draw Rick's right hand for the first time in sixty-nine issues, but he was unavailable for comment.
Much thanks to keen Outhouse observer Victorian Squid for the tip!
