Ernie Chan, best known for his work on Conan the Barbarian and Kull the Destroyer, passed away on Wednesday at the age of 71.
Artist Ernesto "Ernie" Chan passed away on Wednesday May 16th after a yearlong battle with cancer. Chan quietly built an impressive resume of work, including work on Marvel's Conan the Barbarian, whom he regularly drew for almost twenty years. Chan also worked on characters such as Batman, Power Man and Iron Fist, and Kull the Destroyer. Chan also worked on a number of DC covers in the 1970s, including the one pictured below.

Funeral services will be held Monday in Oakland, California.
