DC Comics Ain't Done Gettin' Gay - More Gay Characters On the Way
- Written by Jude Terror on Saturday, June 02 2012 and posted in News and Satire
The damn internet may have spoiled DC's Alan Scott surprise, but DC and James Robinson are determined to up the gay ante in the fight to determine the gayest publisher in comics!
DC revealed this morning, to the shock of no one since the entire Internet had figured it out a day after their original announcement, that the mysterious, prominent character that would soon be turning gay is Alan Scott, the sole Green Lantern of the not so prominent Earth 2 alternate DC Universe. Earth 2 writer James Robinson, however, told prominent gay magazine The Advocate that he would not stop with Alan Scott. "Alan Scott won't be the only gay character in Earth 2, I promise you that. Earth 2 is going to get gayer and gayer. Every character will be gay. I'm gay. You're gay. Dan Didio is super, super gay," Robinson said, if one considers the definition of "said" to be "actually said the first sentence, and the rest is stuff we made up."
With Marvel's gay wedding not happening for another three weeks, fans can be sure that the gay competition will keep getting fiercer as DC and Marvel compete to see just who is the gayest. Stay tuned to the Outhouse, the gayest comic book website on the internet (suck it, CBR - no really, we'll let you do that), for more details in the weeks to come.
