Brian Wood's The Massive is coming to stores today! Wrap your hands around it before it bursts off the shelves!
We love Dark Horse. We love Brian Wood. We're pretty sure we're going to love The Massive. We'd love to say more, but Outhouse contributor Royal Nonesuch has a review of the book coming later today, so let us just tell you a little bit about it to get your juices flowing.
Wood, a fan favorite writer on series such as DMZ and Northlanders has always been pretty huge with hardcore comics fans, and with The Massive, we hope that audience will grow to become completely engorged. What is it about The Massive that really sticks out from other books? The book fills a gaping hole in the industry, where fans have an insatiable appetite for quality comics. Dark Horse is thrusting forward with the launch of this book, and is hoping for sales that rise steadily and stay rigid for a long time. Personally, we think The Massive will have the stamina to keep pounding at the comics market until it penetrates deep into the charts. Frankly, it's going to explode. If you love Wood, get inside the comic shop today, open your wallet wide, and prepare to take in The Massive.
You may be sore in the morning, but you will definitely be satisfied.
