NYCC: Marvel Video Games - Amazing Spider-Man Video Game and More!

At the Marvel Video Games Panel today at NYCC, some news was released, including the official announcement of an Amazing Spider-Man Video Game to tie in with the movie next year.

The most talked about surprise from the Marvel Video Games panel today was the debut of a trailer of what was apparently gameplay footage from the Amazing Spider-Man video game that is set to tie in with the release of the newly rebooted movie franchise next year. Marvel claims the game will take your favorite Spider-Man video game experiences to the next level. The game is being produced by Activision and Beenox, and will be an open world, sandbox style game like some of the popular Spider-Man games of the past.

Marvel also talked about the new Super Hero Squad game, which will use tablet controllers that allow the player to "draw" into the game universe. The Super Hero Squad Online Game was pimped as well, and images of Wolverine from the upcoming Marvel Universe MMO written by the Great One Brian Bendis were shown (see below).
