SDCC: My Friend Dahmer Getting Movie Adaptation

The Abrams ComicArts graphic novel by John "Derf" Backderf has been picked up by Ibid Filmworks for movie development.

The graphic novel focuses on a young teen protaganist who feels isolated and alienated from society, eventually turning into a murdering psychopath, so many Outhouse readers will likely identify. Marc Meyers and Jody Girgenti of Ibid will produce along with Adam Goldworm of Aperture Entertainment.
