SDCC 2012 Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist Live Action TV Series

Street Fighter video game producer Yoshinori Ono announced a new television series, based on the Capcom video game "Street Fighter" property at San Diego Comic-con Thursday. The series will be titled "Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist" and will focus on the early days of the video game series' main characters: Ryu and Ken. Content Media Corpo will distribute this worldwide in 2013

The two characters are the last to know the ancient fighting style of Ansatsuken (Assassin's Fist). The two will uncover the mysteries of Gokuen, their master and the dark power of Ansatsuken. The series will be set in Japan.
Joey Ansah (Street Fighter: Legacy) is credited as creator and will also be the director of the series. Accuracy of of the techniques and canon of Street Fighter will be a priority but he also plans for this to be emotional and character-driven.
No word on casting yet.
