The series will be released in November.
IDW announced today that Duane Swierczynski would be writing its new Judge Dredd series, which will arrive in stores in November. Nelson Daniel will provide pencils.
The series, an American adaptation of the popular British character, will focus on Dredd's earlier days as a law enforcement agent in Mega-City One. Sweirczynski stated that the comic was akin to a procedural show starring a fascist as a main character.
Swierczynski will also write backup stories in each issue, featuring art from creators such as Paul Gulacy and Jim Starlin.
