It's been rumored and hungered for since it was hinted at, but now director Edgar Wright and Marvel fully confirm that yes.. Hank Pym aka Ant-Man will be getting his live action.
"He's going to kick your ass one inch at a time," says director Edgar Wright as debuted his Ant-Man test footage to the crowd of the Marvel Movie Panel at the SDCC.
The test footage shown (and then a media blackout declared) was the following:
- A hallway. An air conditioning grate. Tiny little Ant-Man. Ant-Man running on a gun! Ant-Man shrinking and growing back and forth and punching and doing something amazing and that was awesome!
Wright had sent in a script for the movie earlier this past month to Marvel. The only negative is that there's no confirmation of when Ant-Man
will be released. More than likely either sometime in 2014 or 2015.
