Red 2 to be Released in August 2013, Plot Details Revealed

Summit Entertainment has scheduled the movie for an August 2, 2013 release date.
Summit Entertainment announced today that Red 2, the sequel to the surprise hit based off of Warren Ellis and Cully Hammer's comic book miniseries, will be released on August 2, 2013, just weeks after the upcoming Man of Steel movie hits theatres. The movie will reunite the cast from the first movie, which included Bruce Willis, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren, and will feature the cast face off against a new set of enemies in Europe. It is unknown whether the movie will directly follow up on the first movie (which ended with Willis and Malkovich's characters with a stolen nuclear device in Moldovia) or will stand alone from the first movie.
