Black Panther Movie on the Way?

Black Panther Movie on the Way?

Will one of the movies in the next Marvel movie cycle be Black Panther?!

A Word From Our Sponsors... More Below!

Latino Review is reporting that one of the two as yet unannounced Marvel movies will be The Black Panther (the other is obviously Avengers 2). The property has actually been in development since 1992, with names such as Wesley Snipes attached at one time. Mark Bailey was the last known screenwriter attached to the project. The story is attributed to multiple "credible" sources, and has been picked up by all the reputable movie blogs.

Black Panther, created in 1966, actually predates the Black Panther Party, which this reporter will definitely not call a hate group because that would be racist.  Black Panther was the first modern, mainstream black superhero, and has remained prominent for 50 years as a member of the Avengers, recently marrying the X-Men's Storm in a wedding that did not seem rushed or forced at all. He most recently starred in his own book, Black Panther: The Most Dangerous Man Alive by David Liss, which was totally awesome, and you should be ashamed if you weren't reading it.
