Usagi Yojimbo Coming to Smartphones Everywhere

The Dark Horse comic is becoming a smartphone game.

In today's "Random but Awesome" news, Stan Sakai announced that Usagi Yojimbo, the star of his long running Dark Horse series, was being immortalized as a smartphone game. Usagi Yojimbo: Way of the Roninwill first be released as a smartphone and tablet app before hitting desktop computers later this summer. Should the game go viral, it's quite possible that Usagi Yojimbo will reach a new level of mainstream awareness.
This isn't the first time that smartphone games and comic books have collided. Pocket God, the perennial bestselling video game, has released online comic books that have allegedly sold millions of copies. If Usagi Yojimbo can even get a tenth of those sales, it would become one of the bestselling comics on the market.
