The Human Fly Movie in Development

A new superhero(ish) movie is in development.
Deadline is reporting that The Human Fly, a comic book superhero that was featured in a 1970s Marvel series is being developed as an independent film. Unlike the supervillain Human Fly, who is currently eating people in Venom, this Human Fly was a superhero based off of stuntman Rick Rojatt. The Human Fly was anonymous hero who had a steel skeleton after being horribly disfigured by an accident. The character was originally licensed and published by Marvel, but the rights eventually made their way to Alan Brewer and Steven Goldmann, who pushed the property into movie development. Goldmann will direct the film, which will be funded by private-equity sources.
