Nickelodeon Orders More Korra

Perhaps not the biggest of surprises, but welcome news for fans, it was reported today that Nickelodeon has ordered another season of The Legend of Korra.

The Legend of Korra was already set to show fourteen more episodes with Book 2 (thus completing the original episodes that Nick had ordered), but now that's been extended with a total of TWENTY-SIX MORE EPISODES, pushing Korra's episode limit to a whopping FIFTY TWO episodes in total.
The question is now, will Nick split the new batch of episodes ordered into two sets of "seasons", ala like the first batch? That fact is currently unknown since animators are currently finishing work on Book 2 as we speak. Even more so, there might even be a teaser for Book 2 at this year's San Diego Comic Con. But again, all this is hearsay and just speculative from this reporter.
What is known is yes, the Legend of Korra won't be back until sometime in 2013. Hopefully not the rumored fall that there have been whispers of.
