Did David Letterman Spoil the Ending of Dark Knight Rises?

Twitter was abuzz earlier with people claiming Letterman spoiled the end of Dark Knight Rises tonight... but we don't believe it!

The Twitter, the Tumblr, and other social media sites that the kids are all into these days were filled with posts (tweets? tumbles?) tonight about Anne Hathaway on David Letterman, and comments Letterman supposedly made during the interview that spoil the ending. Of course, the same thing supposedly happened in 2008 with The Dark Knight, so we're skeptical of this rumor, and are fairly certain it's a gag or publicity stunt. Another notch in the "it's not real" column is that despite the billions of tweets about it, no one seems to actually know what Letterman supposedly said.
Rich Johnston over at Bleeding Cool, however, is running with the story, and we're not about to let him take all the unique hits, so let us just state, for the record: Dark Knight Dark Knight Dark Knight Spoilers Spoilers Spoilers!!!
In an ironic twist, Johnston, notorious for spoiling every scrap of comic book info he can get his hands on, is asking people not to spoil the movie on his forum. Hey Rich: Snape kills Dumbledore. Take that.
UPDATE: Maybe possibly the supposed spoiler...

last chance to turn back before spoilers...
According to Outhouse staff writer Zechs, who dared to brave the hive of scum and villainy that is 4chan to get this information, Joseph Gordon Levitt, who many believe plays Dick Grayson in the movie, dies. Maybe. If you believe it.
