No evil shall escAPE their sight.

The joint effort between IDW and DC Comics has proven to be a success with the various Star Trek/Green Lantern series, so BOOM! figured they should try it with Planet Of The Apes. When it was first announced some fans were scratching their heads at the seemingly odd pairing of characters. The first issue, however, was quite well received. It wasn't anything ground-breaking but the characterizations were well done and it all came together to give readers one very fun issue centering around Dr. Cornelius finding a strange ring that can emanate different spectrum colors.

The BOOM! Studios solicit says:

Ape City is in a panic. Word has spread of the capture of a talking human (Hal) and his bizarre alien companion (Sinestro). What's worse, a group of strange, scarred humans-Mutants-are spotted in The Forbidden Zone, being led by a strange-acting Cornelius, who's wearing a ring - a ring Sinestro has long been searching for.

About the Author - IvCNuB4

IvCNuB4 likes to maintain an air of mystery by never publicly revealing his true name unless you are one of the four lucky Outhouse posters he has PM'd it to. A life-long Chicago native, he was introduced to comics by his older brother's vast collection of Silver Age issues. When he is not at his day job as an IT geek or making the most of Chicago's three months of incredible summer, he can found spending way too much time with his very large, very loud Italian family. You will never find him on the likes of Facebook or Twitter as he scoffs at the necessity of most forms of social media.
