The original GI Joe Team recalls crazy adventures and mysteries featuring some other unexpected IDW characters.
Source: CBR Previews
In a flashback adventure the first GI Joe Adventure Team finds themselves surrounded by laser-vision mummies. But then an atomic cyborg and Bulletman (?) comes to their rescue. And that's just the start of the fun weirdness in this issue. Johnny Quest could learn a few things from these guys.
The IDW solicit teases:
BLAST FROM THE PAST! In the deadly catacombs beneath an ancient pyramid, Joe Colton—the original G.I. Joe—found something far worse than any curse or boobytrap. He found the Decepticon Soundwave... scouring Earth for Cybertron's salvation. Their meeting remained classified—until the Revolutionaries crashed headlong into the modern-day results!
A special "Blast from the Past" issue featuring art by Revolution: Rom #1 artist, Ron Joseph! The secrets of the original Adventure Team are revealed here! Variant cover by Marcelo Ferreira!

About the Author - IvCNuB4
IvCNuB4 likes to maintain an air of mystery by never publicly revealing his true name unless you are one of the four lucky Outhouse posters he has PM'd it to. A life-long Chicago native, he was introduced to comics by his older brother's vast collection of Silver Age issues. When he is not at his day job as an IT geek or making the most of Chicago's three months of incredible summer, he can found spending way too much time with his very large, very loud Italian family. You will never find him on the likes of Facebook or Twitter as he scoffs at the necessity of most forms of social media.
