Preview: Wonder Woman '77 Meets The Bionic Woman #4 (of 6)

Several more easter eggs for the TV fans and we have pointed them all out for you

A trip to Paradise Island sees Diana, Jaime and Max greeted by familiar TV names and faces. The title "Where The Heart Is" is from an old adage "Home is where the heart is". It may also be a reference to the Season 2 episode "The Bermuda Triangle Crisis" that guest-starred Beatrice Straight who counseled Diana on "When you see the heart of darkness, you will begin to perceive the light".

Hippolyta
appears to be a mashup of Caroline Jones and Beatrice Straight. Apparently Cloris didn't make the cut.

Tina appeared in the "Girl From Ilandia" episode and in this issue is a probable shoutout to the other adopted amazon, Donna Troy.

Rena appeared in the TV movie pilot "The New, Original Wonder Woman". She was the amazon that was with Diana when Steve Trevor washed up on the beach.  Fannie Flagg as also appeared in the pilot movie as the Doctor. You will see her in the group shot on preview page 3.

Magda
(right) appeared in the 1940s comic book and was prominently featured in the Season 1 two-parter "The Feminum Mystique" along with Dalma (on the left). Debra Winger made her acting debut in those two episodes as Drusilla/Wonder Girl.

About the Author - IvCNuB4

IvCNuB4 likes to maintain an air of mystery by never publicly revealing his true name unless you are one of the four lucky Outhouse posters he has PM'd it to. A life-long Chicago native, he was introduced to comics by his older brother's vast collection of Silver Age issues. When he is not at his day job as an IT geek or making the most of Chicago's three months of incredible summer, he can found spending way too much time with his very large, very loud Italian family. You will never find him on the likes of Facebook or Twitter as he scoffs at the necessity of most forms of social media.
