Preview: The Wild Storm #4

When Grifter comes knocking, knocking on your door.

Source: Comics Continuum

The "rebuilt" Wild Storm universe has been keeping readers intrigued and wanting more. Ellis is doing a fine job on reintroducing us to these characters, their motivations and the steadily building suspense of what is coming. Davis-Hunt's art nicely complements the plot and intense action. Last month gave us some crazy battle scenes and then ended with an extremely intense personal moment.

DC describes this issue as:

There's a covert action team out in the wild, and I.O. has proof of it for the first time. This changes everything. The woman who tipped the first domino in this cascade of secrets and lies is on the run. And the other great power of the hidden world is on the scene. Henry Bendix is noticing things from on high, and that doesn't bode well for I.O., Angela Spica or the planet. The storm is building.

About the Author - IvCNuB4

IvCNuB4 likes to maintain an air of mystery by never publicly revealing his true name unless you are one of the four lucky Outhouse posters he has PM'd it to. A life-long Chicago native, he was introduced to comics by his older brother's vast collection of Silver Age issues. When he is not at his day job as an IT geek or making the most of Chicago's three months of incredible summer, he can found spending way too much time with his very large, very loud Italian family. You will never find him on the likes of Facebook or Twitter as he scoffs at the necessity of most forms of social media.
