Hot on the heels of the Star Trek/Green Lantern:Stranger Worlds finaleIDW brings us a comic book sequel to the classic Star Trek episode "Mirror, Mirror". Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the ST: TNG TV series this six-issue title features the Next Generation crew of the Mirror Universe. According to IDW over 100,000 copies of the prelude issue were given away on Free Comic Book Day creating such a buzz that this limited series has already sold out at the Distributor level before it even hits shops tomorrow. A Second Printing with a special "Broken" cover is due out on May 31.

The LA Times chimes in with:

"A super-buff Picard in a sleeveless muscle shirt? Bring it on."

The IDW Publishing solicit boldly states:

The Star Trek mini-series event of the year kicks off! Captain Jean-Luc Picard will stop at nothing to get his hands on the Empire's newest warship, the ISS Enterprise, be it lies, deception...or murder. With enemies and allies around every corner, Picard's quest to help the Enterprise and restore the Empire to glory will not be an easy one. Good thing he has a crew onboard who will also stop at nothing to ensure total victory -- at any cost.
