Outhouse staff writer ProzacMan has had a chance to read this volume, and he has written a quick review on short notice:
Mini Review for Salt Water Taffy
For $5.95, Salt Water Taffy is definitely worth picking up. It’s a nice change of pace from the McCarthyism of Marvel Universe and the horror movie that is currently the DC Universe. I’m digging the mainstream books, but you need a book like this to clear your pallet once in a while. It feels almost like an old pre TV radio play or a Hardy Boys Mystery. A couple of kids uncover a century old murder and end up involving the whole town and a few ghost. It’s engaging while being some what laid back. Noting to intense, but keeps you turning the pages. A book you can give to kids that are a little to old for Super Friends but quite not ready for Blackest Night.
