Who's Drunk? RU's Drunk! For the second time in 3 seasons, RU does a drunk RUview
Green Lantern Corps #52, Hulk #25, Thor #615, Nemesis #3, Morning Glories #2, Fables #98, and The Man With The Get Away Face #1 Followed by 2, yes 2, Ask RUs!
as usual, text RUViews are below
Green Lantern Corps #52 – Part of me is upset that this is my last issue because, finally, I had a GLC comic book that did not disappoint. But then I realize that after so many less than par issues, its nice to go out on a high point.
Hulk #25 – ok, Jeff Parker, if you can keep this up I might finally see what every one else seems to see in you. Two fun halves make for one pretty good comic book.
Thor #615 – Ugh, talk about a big bag of disappointing. After numerous Thor one shots that showed that Fraction knew what he was doing with the character, his first take at the ongoing was one big repeat of what we have already seen – Thor pining over Loki, Baldar bitching about being the king, and The God of Thunder not respecting Sif. This book is on the short list as it is, and Fraction did not sell his fist issue well.
Nemesis #3 – This was less a cohesive story and more a collection of moments that would only be interesting to a semi retarded hipster. Rather than being a comic about a genius villain, it is a comic about how stupid everyone else is; no, no one notice all the cars in the parking lot, o don't worry about the military trained bad guys still at large, forget about the 100 of other things that point to the break out – no, instead lets pretend that cussing, violence, and shock equal good writing.
Fables #98 – at last, Rose Red lays the smack down on the Farm
The Man With The Get Away Face #1 – Read this book. No, really, if you have never listened to a word I have said, pay the $2 for this over sized work of art. "But, RU, I never read the first Parker Hard Back." That's cool, if you've seen Payback and can imagine the ending without the hooker, then you read the first book.
Q1 - from youtube poster "BJCHESTER" - What comic book character do you believe is consistently, throughout the history of comics, is the most overrated and overused?
A – you know what BJ, I tried to come up with a creative answer here but as much as I tried my brain would not let me let go of Superman. For the life of me I have never found him interesting enough to be the main character in the 1,000's of comics he has stared in. The best Superman story, IMO, is Hitman #32
Q2a – from youtube poster "SystemSyko" - who is your favorite marvel character?
A – Deadpool, followed closely by Adam "MotherFucking" X!
Q2b - Oh yeah who is you Football team?
A – The Benglas, WHO DEY!!!!

About the Author - GHERU
RU, or as he’s known in the writers’ room: the cute one, is relatively unappreciated in his time. RU’s YouTube show, RUviews is watched by literally multiple people every month and his Outhouse articles have helped line many a bird cage. Before you send RU a message, he knows that there are misspelled words in this article, and probably in this bio he was asked to write. RU wants everyone to know that after 25+ years of collecting he still loves comic books and can’t believe how seriously fanboys take them. RU lives in Akron Ohio (unfortunately) with WIFE, ‘lilRuRu, and the @DogGodThor. You can also find him on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, & even Google+ (if anyone still uses that).
