View from the Gutters: Erfworld

On this week's episode of View from the Gutters the topic is the long-running webcomic series, Erfworld.

This week on View from the Gutters, our topic work is Erfwold Book 1: The Battle for Gobwin Knob. Erfworld is an ongoing webcomic series first released in 2006. It features the somewhat bizarre adventures of Parson Gotti, a master strategy wargamer who has been summoned into/trapped in a universe which operates according to the rules of a wargame.

Forced into the role of Chief Warlord for the side of Gobwin Knob and ordered to win an unwinnable battle against a vastly superior foe, Parson must apply every ounce of his cunning—and a few dirty tricks as well— to win, while learning the rules of this universe at the same time.

In our recommendation section our hosts nominated Top 10, JLA, Vol. 1: New World Order, X-Men: Longshot, Hard Time, and Superman: Red Son for discussion on the next episode, and our selected title is X-Men: Longshot

Our hosts for this episode were Andrew Chard, Matt McGinnis, Joe Preti, Tobiah Panshin, and Cade Reynolds
