View from the Gutters: Revival

On this week's episode of View from the Gutters the topic is Revival, a supernatural horror comic by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton

This week on View from the Gutters, our topic work is Revival, by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton:

For one day in rural central Wisconsin, the dead came back to life. Now it's up to Officer Dana Cypress to deal with the media scrutiny, religious zealots, and government quarantine that has come with them. In a town where the living have to learn to deal with those who are supposed to be dead, Officer Cypress must solve a brutal murder, and everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect.

Revival is an excellent entry into the emerging genre of small-town supernatural horror stories, and contains more twists and reveals that readers might expect on first read.

In our recommendation section our hosts nominated The Authority, Vol. 1, Daredevil: Born Again, Suburban Glamour, Batman: The Long Halloween, Godzilla: The Half-Century War for discussion on the next episode, and our selected title is The Authority, Vol. 1.

Our hosts for this episode were Andrew Chard, Joe Preti, Eric Manix, Tobiah Panshin, and Cade Reynolds.
