View from the Gutters #110 — Mystery Society

This week on View from the Gutters we read and discuss Mystery Society, by Steve Niles and Fiona Staples

View from the Gutters is a weekly book club podcast. Each week we discuss one graphic novel or trade paperback, then nominate and vote on what to read for the next episode so you can read and discuss along with us.

This week on View from the Gutters our topic work is Mystery Society, by Steve Niles and Fiona Staples. Published in 2010 by IDW, it is a tongue-in-cheek story about a group of paranormal investigators led by Nick Mystery and his wife Anastasia. The comic follows their adventures fighting the US government and searching for the stolen skull of Edgar Allen Poe.

In our recommendation section, our hosts nominated God Hates Astronauts, Namesake, Fearless Defenders, and Bedlam for discussion on the next episode, and our selected title is God Hates Astronauts.

Our hosts for this episode are Andrew Chard, Joe Preti, Kayleigh Fleeman, and Tobiah Panshin.
