A Word From Our Sponsors... More Below!

The Outhouse is proud to welcome The Acme Wave Projector Team to the site.  There are plenty of podcasts out there by the people that read comics and plenty of show by the people that make comics, but Acmecast is brought to you by the people that SELL comics!  The Acmecast is produced by Acme Comics, an Eisner Award nominated store based out of Greensboro, NC.

Jermaine and Stephen are joined each Friday by a rotating cast of co-workers and friends to review the week's books, keep you up to date on the latest news and interview top creators from across the industry.

This week, Jermaine, Stephen, Frank, Adam and DJ Griffin Kale are joined in the studio by J. Brian Ewing to announce the next big initiative in Acme's plans for Free Comic Book Day 2012! The gang gets Hoax Hunters writers Michael Moreci and Steve Seeley on the line to discuss the huge success of issue #0. They tease the world with an advance review of Avengers vs. X-Men #1 and a very special interview with Captain Marvel writer Kelly Sue DeConnick, coming to Acme Wave Projector.com on Sunday! Finally, DC Comics sees a return to Comics at the Table! Whew!

About the Author - BlueStreak

Christian Hoffer is the exasperated Abbott to the Outhouse's Costello. When he's not yelling at the Newsroom for upsetting readers or complaining to his wife about why the Internet is stupid, he sits in his dingy business office trying to find new ways to make the site earn money. Hoffer is also the only person in history stupid enough to moderate two comic book forums at once.
