Billy Quizboy is in deep trouble. The investors of Conjectural Technologies stand revealed and demands a favor from him. What follows is a threat from season four returns (Monstroso), and a stunning end. Seriously I didn't see it coming.
Wow, you figure with one more episode left and the season ends a filler would be the least what one expects. Which is pretty much what we get here with the spotlight fully on Billy Quizboy and a tiny bit on Brock Sampson. See, Monstroso is dying and needs a heart transplant (supplied by an old character meeting their end), and enter Billy Quizboy. Yet the stuff that happens in the episode totally distracted me to that fact.
I have to admit it was interesting watching the dynamic between Billy and Monstroso throughout the episode. Monstroso was fascinating to watch earlier in the season and here we gets Monstroso and how he fully works on display here. It's intrigues me how the man works when compared to the Monarch and Phantom Limb. You could almost respect the dude more so than the other two if not for you know him being evil and he pours his money into the Guild.
And that's the key part of the episode I loved the most. Just the talk between Billy and Monstroso. The conversations between the two made the episode. Like-wise the final one with Billy and Brock. Throughout the episode we get some interesting moments all capping with Billy getting his greatest desires. Wait a second, a happy end? Okay I have to admit I didn't see it coming, but it happens. Billy gets his greatest wish for his services. I almost didn't think the episode wouldn't go to these places, but here we are.
There's some great jokes also in the episode followed with the Pirate Captain returning. Not to mention Billy gets to live the greatest dream in having three women come on to him. You almost feel the joke is going one way and it takes another hilarious turn. Plus the whole antics between Shoreleave and Brock before they enter was great too.
I was really surprised with this episode. I expected one thing (almost like Billy with him thinking this was all about VAMPIRES), and got something entirely different. Well okay maybe given the end does change some things. Still, this episode was just fun as hell. It had action, vampire women, a twist we never saw coming, Brock being awesome, and Shoreleave in a thong. What's not to love about this episode!? Well, okay maybe the fact we get no resolution at the end with the futures of Pete and Billy, but maybe we'll get that in the season finale.
Still I wonder, can a man actually truly jerk off twelve times? Or have a sex dream of Henry Rollins yet not be gay? These are really questions of life I wonder about. This so sucks we'll be waiting a long time (try two years or more) before we get new Venture Brothers. Still, we got one episode left and it looks like the poop will be hitting the fan when that episode happens. Yet given what we've watched this might lead up to one hell of a finale for this season.

5 out of 5
