Trachman: Hello, Trachman here, Along with Tony “DeadFett” Mourlot. We will be reviewing Ultimate Spider-man #103 part-7 of the Clone Saga. Since I exiled myself for a while, how bout you start us off, Tony.

Tony Mourlot: Well, I’ve enjoyed the Clone Saga so far but this issue was disappointing. I didn’t like the revelation that Richard Parker is an accelerated aged Peter clone. It just seemed like a weak cop out. Bendis didn’t even need to put Richard in there if he was just a Peter clone in my opinion. I also didn’t care for Doc Ock being the mastermind behind the clones. I liked it even less that he has the ability to control metal a la Magento. The one thing I did like about the issue was Fury allowiing the Peter clones to fight it out with Doc Ock. What did you think Trachman?

Trachman: I like Doc Ock as the villain and mastermind behind the clone Saga. I mean, he’s such an asshole that even I wanted to kill him. I felt like the aged Peter clone was a plot device, but it worked. As a read I felt Peter’s anger and hatred towards Doc Ock, for turning Pete’s world up side down. So in that respect it worked. I agree that the Doc Ock revelation, him having Magneto powers, was very cheesy. Really felt force. I thought Ultimate Jessica Drew being a clone of Peter made sense, and I’m interesed to see what is done with the character. What were you feels on that, Tony?

Tony Mourlot: Yeah, I’m curious to see what Bendis does with the Jessica Drew character. I hope he keeps her around and develops her.I thought the art here was solid as always. Bagley continues to put out good work and on time. What did you think of the art?

Trachman: I agree, Bagley is still putting out good stuff. I’ve enjoy this long run.

Tony Mourlot: I have too. I’ll be sorry to see him leave the title. He’s up there as one of the great Spidey artists. Anything else to add?

Trachman: I think we got cover. Another one in the can.
