John Lewis: Okey dokey.
In this issue *SPOILERS FOR YO MOMMA!!!* Danny Rand a.k.a. the Iron Fist gets his ass kicked by Hydra, Luke Cage shows how white Danny is, Orson Randall kills some suckas, and Danny proves that Animaniacs rule.
This was easily a much better issue than the first issue. Felt like it had more of a Fraction influence. Also, unlike most comics, it showed Danny as a silly, rich, white boy which is such a nice change. Also, thought Aja and the two other artists kicked it up a notch. What do you think, Pat Morita?
Tony Mourlot Sweet Christmas! I really enjoyed this issue. I liked the first issue but this one was better. I like seeing the Iron Fists throughout history. I thought the parts with Luke Cage were great. I like the more humorous tone the book seemed to have. Seeing a silly side of Danny was nice because it’s not something you usually see. I agree with you that you could definitely feel more of Fraction’s influence in this issue. Hopefully we’ll get more Luke Cage in the series.
The art here was good. Aja is a perfect fit for this title. His style of art works really well here. I like the gritty feel of the art. The flashback scenes were well drawn also. Anything else to add Ralph Macchio?
