S FOR ARIZONIANS!!! In this issue, new Champions are formed, Punisher gets info about the 42 prison and then gets fired, Namor doesn’t join the resistance, Hank Pym shows his true green colors, and Punisher and Spider-Man have hot, gay sex (you better believe it).
Damn good issue. Even though most Civil War hates are going to be in a fury, I think the characterization of each of the characters was right on and the same goes for Hulking being Hank Pym (I think he was the S.H.I.E.L.D. guy that interrupted Pym and Maria Hill). Overall, a very good issue and I can’t wait for the battle next issue. What say you, Ol’ Fark Nuts?
Tony Mourlot: I liked the issue. Then again, I’ve been enjoying Civil War all along. This issue has me really excited for the last one. I was pleasantly surprised that Hulkling had been masquerading as Hank Pym. It was a good twist I didn’t see coming. I agree with you that the characterization here was good. From Punisher killing those villains to Cap beating the crap out of him for it, I’m glad Spidey is back in the classic costume even though the Iron Spidey suit had grown on me. I also enjoyed Namor’s appearance. I thought he acted just like what I would expect from him. With the prisoners freed the tension is high and I can’t wait for the next issue. WHat did you think of the art Sizzle Tits?
John Lewis: Very nice. I think this was McNiven’s best issue yet overall. What about you, Dumpster Diver?
Tony Mourlot: McNiven was great as always. His art is worth the delays in my opinion. I love the way his characters look. Anything else to add you Junkie Whore?
John Lewis: Is it bestiality if I wanna bang Tigra?
Tony Mourlot: Hmm…I bet in some states it’s legal.
John Lewis: Sweet.
Tony Mourlot: Hope you don’t get fleas.
John Lewis: that’s kinky.
Tony Mourlot: If it’s kinky you want make sure to give her some cat nip.
