Title: Death and the Man Who Would Not Die #1
Writer: James Patrick
Artist: se7enhedd
Publisher: Silent Devil
In Death and the Man Who Would Not Die #1, one of Death’s prized posessions is stolen from him by a criminal and he has to pair with the criminal’s ex-partner to hunt him down.
DATMWWND is the sequel to the successful Death Comes to Dillinger (also from Silent Devil) however it’s accesible to new readers as I understood what was happening and I’ve never read Death Comes to Dillinger. The story’s pretty interesting as Patrick does a good job of selling the criminal as immoral and his former partner as not being much better (and even possibly worst) but the narration at times feels corny and se7enhedd’s art suits the story very well.
To discuss.
