Title: Sin Titulo
Writer/ Artist: Cameron Stewart
Web site: http://www.sintitulocomic.com/
A man discovers a picture of his recently deceased grandfather with an unknown woman and goes on a journey trying to discover who she is.
Now, if you’ve been following comics close enough, the name Cameron Stewart should be one you know. If not, he’s the artist behind Seaguy, won an Eisner award for The Other Side, and has worked with Joss Whedon, Mike Mignola, Ed Brubaker, and Warren Ellis. Meaning that he’s no slouch when it comes to art. With Sin Titulo, however, what’s most impressive is his skills as a storyteller.
Sin Titulo is a mystery story that, as the story goes on, reveals that there’s more to it. Like most people, I like to try to figure out where a story’s going but I’m having much difficulty and a recent page had a panel that confused me even more. I’m confused as all hell and enjoying it.
Like I said, Stewart’s a very good artist and Sin Titulo helps to prove that point. While it’s not as detailed as other works by him, it still gets the job done very well and considering it comes out weekly, that’s very impressive.
Overall, Sin Titulo is a very well done web comic by a very talented guy. Hopefully, this means that there will be more projects from Stewart showing off his writing skills as well as his drawing skills.
