I love preview issues...

Anyways, when I first heard of a comic book title featuring a superhero team made up of a superhero's illegitmate children, I found the idea to be interesting and, frankly, funny. This is a good, solid comic.

That said, I don't recommend this issue as a jumping-on point. The writing's solid and the art's great but unless you've read news (or Wikipedia) about the title, you'll probably be confused. That said, go pick up the first trade. Ten bucks for five issues a good deal y'know.

If you've been a loyal fan since issue #1, enjoy. It's another enjoyable issue from two talented, hard-working creators.

cAT.

I don't know too much about the story of Cthulhu or Nyarlathotep, who is mentioned in the story. However, the monkeys that run this site allow me to do reviews and BOOM! Studios thinks I'm good enough to review it too. Rubes.

Like I said, I don't know if there's something more to the story than what's in it but from what I did understood, I didn't care for the story. The issue takes longer than needed to develop and the art could be either solid or amateurish. Overall, I'm not impressed.
