Want something that's entertaining, free from the dirge and darkness of today's comics? A book that's free of continuity and uncharacteristic characters? Ready for a good old fashioned great time? Pick up Incredibles #0, you won't be disappointed.
The legendary Mark Waid is having a blast with Disney-Pixar's famous First Family of Superhero's, and it shows. The story of Jack Jacks birth is revealed with both the humor and warmth that made the movie such an incredible hit (yeah, I said it).
Marcio Takara's illustration is beautiful, capturing the facial features of each family member perfectly.
This really is worth taking a gander at. It'll go nicely between your new issue of Superman and Wolverine. It's relaxing fun. And the best part for all you moms and dads out there: It's great for the entire family, and a fun read for everyone as well!
Pick it up. I promise you won't be disappointed.
