GLX reviews some stuff that he bought this past week.
G-Man: Cape Crisis #2
Still killer. This comic just oozes charm with entertaining writing and well done artwork. The last page of this sucker is just awesome. Interested to see how that will play out, in the next issue.

The Unwritten #5
This doesn't pack as much of a punch as the last issue, but it's still a strong showing. Carey and Gross are in full gear here. The fate of Kipling's kids is just heartbreaking. Give a shot, folks.

War of Kings: Who Will Rule #1
Definately lacks the intensity of the mini series, but it's still solid work. The character work is solid, but this issue needed an extra kick to it. Pelletier brings the same quality of work that he brought to War of Kings. I wish that he would stick with the cosmic comics, but that's life.

Ah, the little tale involving the beginnings of Youngblood. Rob Liefeld, Dan Fraga and Danny Miki deliver the typical Liefeld style of art.....which is to say-not good. The writing is pretty crappy. The flashback tale was particularly bad.

Additional stuff: I love the fact that the president, circa summer 1988, looks nothing like Ronald Reagan. Cut to 2009 and Barack Obama's likeness is featured in a Youngblood comic. Oi.
