The Batman Adventures #25(1994)
Superman and Batman take on Maxie Zeus, in this issue by Kelley Puckett and Mike Parobeck. Puckett's writing is neither here nor there. That being said, it manages to be entertaining. Parobeck's pencils do a good job of having the feel of the Batman animated series. There are two cool bits that are not that big, in the comic. The first bit being an explanation of comic coloring. The second bit happens to be a pin-up gallery by folks such as Alex Toth, Matt Wagner, Kevin Nowlan and Chuck Dixon(seriously).

Battle of the Planets #1(2002)
A mysterious menace threatens Earth and G-Force will have to take them on! That is if they can get the respect they deserve from their superiors. Munier Sharrieff handles the writing and it's alright. It's not bad, but not necessarily good. The pencil and ink work by Wilson Tortosa is the highlight of the comic. Despite a few layout issues, the art gives off a nice cartoon feel. Props to art director Alex Ross for his work, on the comic.

Superman Adventures #45 (2000)
Three girls are looking for a husband for their mother. Who could be the perfect match? Clark Kent? Lex Luthor? Superman? Jeff Grubb's writing isn't the best in the world, but he does craft a fun story. The concept of the story could fit in the Silver Age; however, Grubb's writing flows naturally and doesn't clutter the comic with too many words. There are segments of the story that remind me of an old animated Batman episode, in which 3 kids talk about Batman. Aluir Amacio and Terry Austin's work matches well with the look and feel of the Superman cartoon series. It's not essential reading, but it's a guaranteed good time.
