Legend of Korra fans will soon have more kon-- content for them to consume! Not only is the cartoon returning to television on Nickelodeon for its third season in a couple of days, but a pair of new games have been announced tying in to the popular series.

Platinum Games, the makers of such games as Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, and The Wonderful 101, will be handling the development of the game for (most) home systems. It will be a third-person action game, having the players take on the role of Korra to harness fire, earth, air, and water to combat mecha tanks, chi blockers, and more. Game publisher Activision will have The Legend of Korra downloadable this Fall for Playstation 4, Playstation 3, XBox One, Xbox 360, and PC.

Nintendo fans will also be able to play in the world of Korra, but not on Wii U. The Nintendo version of The Legend of Korra will be developed by Webfoot Technologies, makers of the American Girls, Hello Kitty, and Dragonball Z games for the Nintendo DS. For The Legend of Korra, Webfoot will be developing a less action-oriented game, but one that focuses on turn-based tactical manuvering on a battlefield. This game will be available for the Nintendo 3DS, also this year.

At the time of this report no pricing has been announced.
