The Griot Vine's 2 Steps Backwards: Amadeus Cho is The New Hulk

New entry of The Griot Vine's (1 Step Forward) 2 Steps Back. This time, the fanboys react to the news of the new Hulk being revealed to be Asian-American Amadeus Cho!

So for a while now - a few months actually - Marvel Comics has been releasing promos of a new Hulk series. People have been wondering who this new Hulk will be. Now if you've been reading Hulk for the past few years, the revelation didn't really come as a shock. A lot of readers felt this reveal made a lot of sense and had already guessed it. Go to any site or forums where the promos have been posted and you'll see the majority of posters already saying it's going to be Amadeus Cho, especially when you have fan-favorite writer, Greg Pak, on board doing writing, who has a history of using Cho in a few of his work, Pak being Cho's creator.

A couple of hours ago, Marvel released an interview with and the promos of Amadeus Cho have gone out, and one exciting thing is not only is the Hulk going to be Asian-American, but the creative team being the book is an Asian lead team! Greg Pak on writing, Frank Cho on art! Now Marvel's Strongest There Is is an Asian Man!!

But of course, we have certain fanboys who just don't know when to... (sighs), just read for yourself...

Quick Backstory/All You Need To Know: Amadeus Cho is a kid super genius who was introduced as a Hulk supporting character years ago and starred in a buddy book with Hercules, which spun off from their adventures from the Hulk. Also keep in mind that Cho is NOT the first person beyond Bruce Banner to become a Hulk. There's been quite a few different people before him. But why does that matter, right?

Now onto (1 Step Forward) Two Steps Back: Amadeus Cho as Hulk edition! Fair warning: some comments may make you face palm yourself pretty hard.
