The Summer of Valiant Day Two

The Summer of Valiant Day Two

X-O Manowar vs. The Eternal Warrior. Groovy.

Source: Press Release

Remember The Summer of Valiant? Last year, Valiant was rolling out its big re-launch throughout the warm weather months, and we kept starting every article "It's The Summer of Valiant!" It was awesome.

Well, since there's another summer this year, there's going to be another Summer of Valiant. This year, it's starting with a teaser per day about something coming up from The Flyin' V. The teaser campaign actually started yesterday, but we never actually got around to putting it up. Sorry. Look, sometimes we shank these things.

Today's teaser is for X-O Manowar #15, which shows Aric of Dacia facing off with Gilad, The Eternal Warrior, whom we just met in Archer & Armstrong. Also, this is apparently the "Road to Unity." Unity, of course, was also the name of the big-time crossover back in the days of classic Valiant, which never actually had an ending. That's probably just a coincidence, though.

Check out the X-O teaser below, and below that, check out what was supposed to be yesterday's ad, for Quantum & Woody #1

nb: Yeah, these teasers link to exclusive details on other comics news sites. What can you do? At least being on the C-list is better than being on the blacklist.
