Legendary Pictures has begun a viral marketing campaign to promote their 2014 feature, Godzilla.
Legendary Pictures seems to be on a promotional kick with Godzilla (2014). Yesterday it was reported what they're teasing outside the SDCC Convention Center. Today, a website popped up called Godzilla Encounter that has a collection of news articles:
Even curiouser, a hidden message is in the articles, as the headlines each have a red letter. We'll keep you updated as more "articles" make their way, and if anyone can solve the riddle of the red letters. Regardless, it appears that, once more, an American Godzilla movie will be having some fantastic teasers.
Hopefully the end product will be funnier (okay I confess the '98 film was almost saved by Jean Reno acting and the helicopter sequence. But it so needed more fun like that).
