LEGO has Lord of the Rings, Hobbit and other fantasy-based building sets, now KRE-O has decided to get into the game with the announcement of Dungeons & Dragons (aka. D&D) themed building brick sets. A special edition limited KRE-O Dungeons & Dragons poster and an early viewing of the KREON (aka. minifigs) models for this line at the Hasbro (parent company of both D&D and KRE-O) San Diego Comic-Con booth. The toys should be available on shelves in Janurary 2014.

KRE-O will also be celebrating the launch of its LEGO City KRE-O Cityville Invasion line at SDCC. Cityville Invasion is based on the new Cityville Invasion video game by Zynga.

Other releases in the KRE-O line include Transformers, Star Trek, and G.I. Joe.
